Stephen J. McMullin, Esq
Mr. McMullin manages the New York office of McMullin & Associates. Mr. McMullin focuses on debt restructuring, creditor's rights, No-Fault ("PIP") arbitrations and preference claim prosecution and defense.
Prior to starting McMullin & Associates, Stephen worked in litigation finance where he focused on the funding of complex commercial claims which included both domestic commercial litigations and international arbitrations. Prior to litiation finance, Mr.McMullin worked at Goldman Sachs & Company where he was a financial analyst in the Securities Division focused on domestic equities trading and micro structure.
Mr. McMullin earned Law Degrees from both the Unviersity of Oxford and Harvard Law School. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown Unviersity with a degree in Finance. Mr. McMullin is admitted to practice in New York and Washington, D.C.
Eric Mausner, Esq (of-counsel)
Before becoming a personal injury and criminal defense attorney, Eric previously served as an Assistant State Attorney at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office where he investigated and prosecuted hundreds of violent crimes including attempted homicides, sex crimes, narcotics trafficking and DUIs. As a prosecutor Eric tried numerous jury trials gaining extensive litigation and courtroom experience. Previously Eric also worked in both the New York County District Attorney’s Office and the Kings County District Attorney’s Office.
Eric earned his B.A. degree from The George Washington University, and his J.D. from New York Law School.
Eric lives in Miami, Florida and is admitted to practice law in Florida, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C.
Carl Ippolito, Esq
Mr. Ippolito began his professional career in the private practice of law as trial advocate, litigator and transactional attorney. He founded and managed small businesses in which he personally invested while providing financial advice and strategic planning. He brings more than 30 years of experience in law and business to the firm.
He is a graduate of the University of Florida's Warrington School of Business with a concentration in finance, as well as a graduate of Rider University's MBA program. He also earned a Juris Doctor degree from Vermont Law School and an Masters in Trial Advocacy from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University. He earned the FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 designations almost 15 years ago. He is a New Jersey licensed insurance producer in the areas of property, casualty, life, accident and health. Finally, he maintains and builds upon his knowledge of federal and state taxation as a Master Tax Advisor and instructor.
Attila R. Secchin (Legal Advisor)
Attila Ruschi Sechhin is legal advisor to McMullin & Associates. Attila overseas all Latin American claim sourcing. His expertise span international trade breach of contract and capital recovery. Attila leads all civil law related matters.
Mr. Sechhin started his career as a clerk in the 7th Vara Civel of Vitoria and at the Special Civil Court; routinely supporting court hearings pertaining to breach of contract, tortious conduct, and capital recovery claims.
Mr. Sechhin graduated from Faculdade de Direito de Vitoria with his primary law degree. Subsequently, Mr. Secchin earned his LLM from Harvard Law School studying under such names as Steven Shavell and Duncan Kennedy. His research thesis was supervised by Scott Brewer. His dissertation focused on Brazilian “precedents” and logic.
